Sharon was hired in June 1989 as a Communications Operator and was promoted to Communications Supervisor in July 1999, to Technical Services Coordinator in April 2001 and to the newly created Communications Manager in January 2007.
In Communications, Sharon has done it all. Her file shows dozens of letters of commendations from the department including nominations for Operator of the Year in 2003 and 2005. She received the department's Employee Excellence Award in 1995, 1996, and 2001. Finally, nominated for Employee of the Month in 2002 and 2007, she was Employee of the Month in July 2005.
Sharon is indeed a credit to the Police Department and it is a pleasure to recognize her twenty years of service to the City.
