The City Commission held an External Auditors Workshop on January 21, 2009 and as a result, the City’s external auditing firm of McGladrey & Pullen, LLP has requested their professional consulting services section, RSM McGladrey, prepare a letter of understanding as to the services to be performed in order to conduct a risk assessment and business review of various operations of the City as requested by the City Commission.
The Scope of Services to be performed were based on the issues and concerns addressed by the City Commission at the workshop and conveyed by the Finance Director to Robert Feldman, Partner of McGladrey & Pullen, LLP, and Kathy Thomas-Beck of RSM McGladrey to prepare this proposal for Professional Services.
RSM McGladrey has performed the audit of the City’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the past four (4) years and is extremely familiar with the financial operations that will greatly assist their work on the business review of operations of the City.
