The Coral Gables MS Walk and 5K Race has taken place in Coral Gables for more than twenty (20) years.  This year's event is scheduled for Sunday April 7, 2013 from 7:30a.m. to 2:00p.m. and is expected to draw more than 900 participants.
 
A letter from Mabel Melton, Event Coordinator, Miami-Dade County, for The South Florida Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society requesting free parking for participants in Garage (4) and a waiver for any payment of parking meters is attached.  The requested waiver is for fifty-nine (59) metered spaces.  The standard fee for fifty-nine (59) meter spaces for one (1) day is $590 and the parking rate in Garage Four(4) is $1 per hour.
