Congratulations to Calvin Mobley, Public Service Department, recipient of the City of Coral Gables Employee of the Month Award, for the month of May 2010.

The nomination was submitted by Omar J. Leon, Public Service Department, which provided the following:
"Calvin Mobley came out and helped us when another employee did not show up to work on Saturday for the Farmers Market. He shows great initiative and willingness to be a team player when he is most needed."
Dan Keys, Public Service Director, also wrote the following:
"Calvin is a polite, cooperative, dependable, respectful, civil, and courteous employee who is quick to offer help. He stays out of trouble and communicates in a respectful helpful manner with residents. He responded quickly and affirmatively on a recent Saturday to our call for help when we were in need of a fill in employee for two very important special events being held in the City. Calvin is a good example of the type of employee we are proud of in the Public Service Department and I am happy to echo the recommendation made by Omar Leon that he be chosen as employee of the month for his consistently good work and his willingness to step up for extra duty when called upon on short notice."
