Resolution of the City of Coral Gables accepting the recommendation of the Chief Procurement Officer to award the Riviera Park Renovation project to BMA Construction Inc. pursuant to Section 2-828 of the Procurement Code and Invitation for Bid (IFB) 2008.12.12 in the amount of $444,520.00 (Four Hundred Forty-Four Thousand Five Hundred Twenty Dollars).
History
Project involves the demolition and removal of concrete walk ways, electric light poles, site furniture, and the renovation of the Park including new concrete walk ways, resurfacing of concrete walkways, and new playground with synthetic flooring, fencing, new electric light poles, landscaping, irrigation and alternates for a new gazebo and an exercise trail and stations.
On December 12, 2008 the Procurement Division of Finance formally advertised, issued and distributed the Riviera Park Renovation Invitation for Bid (IFB) 2008.12.12.
On January 29, 2009 twenty two (22) bid responses were received, of those that responded twenty one (21) responsive bids were submitted by: Florida Construction, ABC Construction, Leadex, Wrangler Construction, Carivon Construction, SFM Services, Action Construction, Homestead Concrete, Maggolc, Solution Construction, Gavarette, Inc, T&G Construction, Link, BMA Construction, Gecko Construction, Andale Group, Development & Communication, Cisca Construction, Williams Paving, JRT Construction and Transamerica Construction.
There was one (1) No Bid response from Building and Development Solution Inc.
