It is recommended that the City Commission accept the recommendation and authorize the City Manager to provide Capital Improvement Funds in the amount of $547,000 for building improvements to the Coral Gables Museum and the Country Club of Coral Gables.
Capital Improvement funding for the Coral Gables Museum in the amount of $337,000 is required for the addition of new administrative offices on the second floor and capital improvement funding for the Country Club of Coral Gables in the amount of $210,000 is required for the fumigation of drywall termites to cost $45,000, a new roof to cost $55,000, and a new air conditioning system to cost $110,000.
The Capital Improvement Funding of $547,000 will be a transfer from the General Fund Reserve with a reserve balance of $10,169,006 as of September 30, 2007.
