Brief History

This is a request for Kiwanis of Little Havana to serve alcoholic beverages during the Art in the Park event series and is in compliance with the laws of the State of Florida.

 

For five years, the Kiwanis of Little Havana has utilized Ponce Circle Park as the location of their Art in the Park event. Each evening will consist of art and music to coincide with Gallery Night. The Kiwanis will also attend the first Art in the Park event in October for a Saturday piano concert. Provisions and operations of staging, traffic and safety control, post-event clean-up and noise management were discussed at the meeting. The event organizer will work with the Police and Special Event staff to assure that all provisions set by the Committee are met.

 

This request has been reviewed by the City’s Special Events Committee.
