On February 18, 2019, the Procurement Division of Finance formally advertised, issued and distributed IFB 2020-007. Fifty (50) prospective bidders downloaded the IFB package from Public Purchase, the City’s web-based e-Procurement service.

On May 4, 2020, three (3) bids were received in response to the IFB: MBF Industries, Inc., Tampa Truck Center LLC., d/b/a Southport Truck Group, and Ten-8 Fire Equipment, Inc.

On July 21, 2020, a Technical Evaluation Committee convened to evaluate the technical portion of the bid response from the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and found the equipment bid to be in conformance with technical specifications listed in the IFB.
