Lina Hickman, the August Employee of the Month, was nominated by a resident for her outstanding effort at "going the extra mile".
"I'd like to nominate Lina Hickman for Coral Gables Employee of the Month.
She made a special effort to work with me to solve a permit-related "Catch 22" for me, and then called in other impacted departments to make certain our solution would be acceptable to all concerned.
Ms. Hickman is a sensible fair minded team player who takes her responsibility very seriously.
I am grateful for her assistance and that I was able to work with her.
