Marilyn joined the City in April of 2024 as an HR Clerk II. Marilyn works within the Human Resources Department’s Recruitment Division and more specifically in Public Safety Recruitment. Marilyn is responsible for screening applications, scheduling candidates, and assisting them through the hiring process.
She is the patient, welcoming presence that most of our public safety candidates first meet when applying with the City. Marilyn is a friendly and helpful guide for these candidates. Her diligent efforts have led to the hire of over 100 new employees in critical public safety positions such as police officer, firefighter and emergency dispatcher.
A true professional and a welcomed additional to the HR team, I believe that Marilyn deserves the Part-Time Employee of the Quarter Award. Marilyn is a wonderful representative of the City and upholds the values which the City stands for.
