Title

A Resolution of the City Commission appointing Mayor Lago to serve to serve on the auditor selection committee pursuant to Florida Statutes § 218.391(2)(b) and appointing Commissioner Lara to serve as the alternative governing body member on the Auditor Selection Committee for RFP 2026-013 External Auditing Services.

 

Body

Pursuant to Florida Statutes 218.391(b), when a municipality is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for External Auditing Services, the auditor selection committee must consist of at least three members, one of which is a member of the governing body who shall serve as the chair of the committee.

 

The City of Coral Gables is issuing a Request for Proposals for External Auditing Services - RFP 2026-013.  The RFP is expected to be advertised by the end of May 2026, and the evaluation committee review meeting is expected to be conducted in July or August 2026.
