Body
[Enter body here.]The Board of Architects reviewed the application for Ms Marcia Simon Kaplan for installation of accordion shutters on all windows of her existing residence, 3801 Anderson Road. The Board agreed to approve all proposed accordion installation on this residence with the exception of the windows directly facing the principal street, Anderson Road. The board is of the opinon that accordion windows on this elevation would sufficiently alter the architecture of this beautiful residence. The resident was given the option of installing impact windows which would adequately protect the residence and occupants during a potential hurricane with a minimal amount of effort on the part of the resident; this solution did not appear satisfactory to Ms. Simon Kaplan. Alternatively, the Board suggested the installation of removable panels as a meathod of protection; again, the resident declined this suggestion as too cumbersome.
