Marc began his career as a Firefighter in August 1983. His Paramedic Certification was earned in July 1985 and he was later assigned to rescue. He became a Fire Lieutenant in February 1990 and was later assigned as a Rescue Lieutenant in February 1992. Marc's appointment to Staff Captain was awarded in March 1995, and then to Fire Captain in December 1997. His illustrious career continued to shine when he was promoted to Fire Division Chief in January 2000 and then again to his current position of Deputy Fire Chief in 2008. He was awarded Firefighter of the Year in 1996
Performance evaluations describe Marc as an employee who consistently demonstrates his ability to balance his schedule and job requirements effectively. Marc maintains an excellent attitude and has built a very good working relationship with both staff and battalion personnel. He has earned his Bachelors Degree and is currently working on his Masters degree. Marc is also trained as a Fire Inspector. He also manages and supervises the City's AED/CPR Accreditation Programs. The City is fortunate for his 25 years of service.
