The purpose of this IFB is to contract with qualified General Contractor and / or Miami-Dade County Certified Engineering Contractor for the purpose of repairing and/or rehabilitation to the sewer collection system; sanitary sewer main and lateral pipelines replacement; cured-in place lining for sanitary sewer pipes; and rehabilitation of sanitary sewer manholes, at various locations within the City of Coral Gables on an as needed basis.
On August 28,2025, the Procurement Division of Finance formally advertised, issued and distributed IFB 2025-029, Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation. One hundred and forty two (142) prospective bidders were notified through INFOR, the City’s web-based e-Procurement system.
Two (2) bids were received on October 7, 2025, in response to the IFB: EnviroWaste Services Group, Inc., and Jormak Equipment and Consulting, Inc.
The responses were reviewed by the Procurement Division in order to determine responsiveness to the requirements of the IFB. The Procurement Division finalized its’ due diligence process and confirmed that EnviroWasste Services Group, Inc.is responsive to the requirements of the IFB and a responsible bidder.
The Public Works Department concurs with the Chief Procurement Officer’s recommendation to award EnviroWaste Services Group, Inc.as the most responsive and responsible bidder, in an estimated annual value of $3,714,235.55, not to exceed the available budget for an initial period of three (3) years with option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods.
