Brief History
Miami-Dade County is commencing the process for the Fiscal Year 2009-2010 Parking Fines Reimbursement Program. The City may apply for $26,204.
The City, in accordance with the executed Interlocal Agreement with Miami-Dade County, need only submit an Affidavit to participate in the Fiscal Year 2009-2010 Parking Fines Reimbursement Program. The Affidavit states the funds reimbursed shall be used to continue to improve accessibility and equal opportunity to qualified persons who have disabilities in the municipality and to conduct disability public awareness programs. The combination of fines collected in the previous fiscal year, and unspent funds from other municipalities, makes available an amount of $26,204.00 for which the City may apply.
