Captain Louie Fajardo has been selected as March’s Firefighter of the Month for his outstanding display of individual initiative surpassing job requirements and expectations, specifically for his hard work and dedication to the department.
There is an incredible talent pool within the ranks of our Fire Department. Over the past year, Captain Fajardo has shown dedication in bringing a new TRT program to our department. He has taken the initiative to research how other departments operate their programs and has adapted those into an approach that works for our Fire Department. From helping spec out our SQUAD truck to helping to develop SOPs, the bidding process, and guiding team election, he has played a pivotal role in every aspect of this initiative.
Captain Fajardo’s pride in our department and the TRT program sets a powerful example for all our firefighters and officers.
Due to his outstanding work ethic and dedication to the Fire Department, Captain Louie Fajardo is nominated Firefighter of the month for March 2025.
