One of the responsibilities of the City's Cultural Development Board is to recommend to the City Commission the allocation of $166,250.00 in cultural grant funding. On October 29 the Board reviewed and scored 40 applications for City of Coral Gables Cultural Development Grants, Festivals & Special Events Grants, and Community Grants. Seven applications were disqualified because of nonconformity with grant requirements and three were not funded because of low scores.
