SUMMARY OF MEETING:
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES
A motion was made by Mr. Ehrenhaft and seconded by Ms. Spain to approve the minutes from the May 19, 2021 Historic Preservation Board Meeting.
The motion passed (Ayes: 6; Nays: 0) (2 board members were not yet present).

DEFERRALS: None

LOCAL HISTORIC DESIGNATION:
CASE FILE LHD 2021-003: Consideration of the local historic designation of the property at 1500 Madrid Street, legally described as Lot B lying between Blocks 53 and 54, Coral Gables Granada Section, according to the Plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 8, at Page 113 of the Public Records of Miami-Dade County, Florida.

A motion was made by Mr. Maxwell and seconded by Mr. Fullerton to approve the designation.
The motion passed (Ayes: 8; Nays: 0).

SPECIAL CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS:
CASE FILE COA (SP) 2021-006: An application for the issuance of a Special Certificate of Appropriateness for the property at 2806 Granada Boulevard, a Local Historic Landmark, legally described as Lot 2, Block 19, Coral Gables Country Club Section Part One, according to the Plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 8, at Page 108 of the Public Records of Miami-Dade County, Florida. The application requests design approval for additions to the residence and sitework. A variance has also been requested from Article 2, Section 2-101 D (4) c of the Coral Gables Zoning Code for the minimum rear setback.

A motion was made by Mr. Garcia-Pons and seconded by Ms. Rolando to approve the Special Certificate of Appropriateness for design approval for additions to the residence and sitework with conditions as amended.
The motion passed (Ayes: 8; Nays: 0).

A motion was made by Mr. Garcia-Pons and seconded by Ms. Bache-Wiig to approve the granting of the variance for the minimum rear setback.
The motion passed (Ayes: 8; Nays: 0)
