Congratulations to Dayron Garcia, Building and Zoning Department, recipient of the City of Coral Gables Employee of the Month Award, for the month of November 2008

Three nominations were received from the Building and Zoning Department for our Employee of the Month nominee. The nominators had this to say about Dayron:
Albert Reyes: "In the time I have worked in the Building & Zoning Department I have worked on a daily basis with Dayron Garcia and have been able to observe his work ethic. I've asked him for assistance on a continual basis and he has gone beyond the call of duty to help me, my fellow co-workers, and the public. He has been confronted with all types of situations that an employee that works at the front counter encounters and he handles them with respect and an "I am here to help you" attitude. I believe he deserves to be acknowledged as Employee of the Month for the City of Coral Gables. He is certainly an asset to this Department."
Jose A. Gomez: "Dayron Garcia is one of the best employees working for the Permitting Division of Building and Zoning. Always willing to help in any capacity and in the best disposition to assist all the visitors to the permit counter. We are proud to have him as a star employee."
Virginia Goizueta: "Dayron is a hard working employee. He is diligent and persevering. Dayron treats his coworkers with respect, professionalism and is always willing to assists them. He communicates effectively and is well liked by the public. I do believe that Dayron Garcia deserves to be named employee of the month."
