Dean began his career with the City Beautiful as a Police Officer in January 1, 1991 and left the City for a short period of time. Dean returned February 9, 1995.
He received the Officer of the Month award in July 1992, January 1996, February 1996, July 1996, July 2009, November 2009, and the Officer of the Year award for 2009. In April 2011 he again received the Officer of the Month award. Dean also received the Shift Recommendation Award in February 2011. Later on, he received Honorable Mention in May 2011. Once again, Dean received the Shift Recommendation Award in March 2012 and an Honor Nomination in April 2012.
In October 2013, Dean was promoted to Sergeant. In June 2014, Dean again received another Officer of the Month award.
The City recognizes Dean’s 25 years of dedicated and loyal service.
