Title

Resolution amending the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Coral Gables and the International Association of Firefighters, Local 1210 for the contract period from October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2011, which was ratified by Local 1210, and the City Commission on February 24, 2009.

Body

This Resolution will provide that the previously agreed five percent (5%) across-the- board wage increase scheduled for October 1, 2009 shall be reduced by five percent (5%); that commencing October 1, 2009, merit increases for bargaining unit employees shall be two and one-half percent (2.5%) for eligible employees until the maximum of the pay range of the employee is reached; that commencing October 1, 2009, Battalion Time will be incorporated; and that there shall be no layoffs of bargaining unit employees for the duration of this agreement.
