On February 6, 2018, the Procurement Division of Finance formally advertised, issued and distributed the IFB 2018.005 Gymnastic Equipment solicitation to renovate the Gymnastic Multi-Purpose Room by purchasing and installing new Gymnastic Equipment and removing Gymnastic Equipment.
On February 14, 2018 a non-mandatory pre-bid conference was held with one (1) prospective bidder in attendance of the fourteen (14) prospective firms that downloaded the IFB package from Public Purchase, the City’s web based e-Procurement service.
On March 7, 2018, one (1) bid was received in response to the IFB 2018.005 from Spieth Anderson dba Spieth America.
The single response was reviewed by the Procurement Division to determined responsiveness to the requirements of the IFB. Once this step was completed, the Project Manager and Parks and Recreation Director conducted an evaluation of the response. The Procurement Division finalized its due diligence process and confirmed that Spieth Anderson LLC. dba Spieth America, is both responsive to the requirements of the IFB and responsible firm for an estimated amount of $215,081.14.
