Harnett Ponce Circle Park on Friday, March 4, 2011; Saturday, March 5, 2011, and Sunday, March 6, 2011 on Miracle Mile from Douglas to LeJeune as part of the Carnaval on the Mile, subject to Florida Department of Professional Regulation requirements.

Brief History
For thirteen years, the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana has utilized Miracle Mile as part of Carnaval on the Mile. The past three years, Fred B. Hartnett Ponce Circle Park has been used for the Friday kickoff event. It is proposed that Miracle Mile be closed from Friday, March 4, 2011, at 11:00 p.m. through 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2011, for set up, the event, and breakdown. Additional police officers and on-duty custodial staff will be retained, as in the past, by the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana to control the crowd and litter problem. Past results of crowd and litter control have been very successful.
This event has been reviewed by the City's Special Event Committee.
