2. Investment Issues were discussed.
3. The minutes of September 11, 2008 Retirement Board meeting were approved.
4. The minutes of October 30, 2008 Retirement Board meeting were approved.
5. The Board Attorney Alan Greenfield updated the Board on current pending items.
6. The Administrative Manager’s Report was reviewed and accepted.
7. The Board approved the following applications for Retirement benefits and DROP benefits.
Retirement Benefits:
Retirement application of Paul M. Goyette of the Police Department, 12 years, 11 months, No Option, effective December 1, 2008.
DROP Benefits:
DROP application of Jeffrey Fabyan of the Fire Department. Effective date November 1, 2008.
DROP application of Walter Reed of the Fire Department. Effective date November 1, 2008.
DROP application of Pio Sirolli of the Fire Department. Effective date November 1, 2008.
8. The Board approved the approval of the continued disability benefits for James Thompson.
9. Attendance of attorney Mark L. Zientz on behalf of James Thompson and Stephanie Harmon regarding the definition of “time of disability” in Retirement Ordinance Section 50-231. (Item continued from March 8, 2007 and September 11, 2008.) After discussion the Board deferred this item to the Board Attorney.
