Title

Resolution amending the 2009-2010 Annual Budget and authorizing an appropriation of funds for the City of Coral Gables Art in Public Places Public Art Master Plan.

Body

The City was awarded a Culture Builds Florida Grant in the amount of $25,000 to support the Art in Public Places Master Plan.  Resolution No. 2009-318 authorized the City to enter into a contract with the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs to accept a Culture Builds Florida matching grant to be used toward completion of the City of Coral Gables Public Art Master Plan and initial public art project.  The Economic Sustainability Department has allocated $25,000 in their 2009-2010 Budget to meet the matching funds requirement of the grant. 

 

This Resolution amends the 2009-2010 Annual Budget and authorizes an appropriation of funds in the amount of $25,000 for the City of Coral Gables Art in Public Places Art Master Plan.
