Firefighter Nicholas Balsera has been selected January’s Firefighter of the Month for his outstanding display of individual initiative surpassing job requirements and expectations, specifically for his hard work and dedication to the department.
There is an incredible talent pool within the ranks of our Fire Department. Firefighter Balsera has always been a yes man when it comes to Coral Gables Fire Department. He is a member of the union, the Benevolent, and the Cadet Program. He is always giving back to the department and always giving towards activities that benefit the community. He has been an integral part of the give back opportunity that our department participates in for families of children with special needs. He is literally the epitome of lending a helping hand.
Due to his outstanding work ethic and dedication to the Fire Department, Nicholas Balsera is nominated for Firefighter of the month for January 2024.
