The nomination was given by Raimundo Rodulfo, Sr. IT Analyst, who had this to say about Grethel:
Grethel has been a hard working and dedicated employee of the IT Department since she started working with us more than a couple of years ago. She has been a resourceful and reliable member of my team during all that time. When she started in the department the EDEN modules were starting to be implemented and there were numerous technical challenges to resolve for the end users in the departments. She was given the big responsibility of supporting the users on the EDEN service requests at that time and she managed that task in a very efficient and professional way. Her work has been fundamental to customize, configure and adapt the EDEN systems and modules to the end user departments needs. She deals with users from all the City departments in a regular basis and her customer service satisfaction record has been very good. As a member of the Systems and Applications group, she has also provided continuous support to other enterprise systems such as Web portals, Legistar, Public Safety applications and TRIM, and has been responsible for software development and programming to facilitate the management, operations and reporting of all these systems. Grethel has a BA degree in Computer Systems Engineering and six years of experience as network systems administrator and programmer. I support her nomination as Employee of the Month.
