Body

On July 1, 2021 the City Manager distributed the City’s Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Annual Operating Budget Estimate in the amount of $255,660,343 to the City Commission.  On July 13, 2021 a workshop was held to present the budget estimate to the City Commission and answer any questions or concerns.  The budget that was presented at the September 13, 2021 hearing was $269,447,484; an increase of $13,787,141 over the July 1 Estimate.   The budget that is being presented at September 27, 2021 hearing is $269,532,919; and increase from the 1st hearing of $85,435.   Attached to this agenda item is a document that details the $85,435 difference between the two budget versions.  These changes will be presented and discussed at the hearing.

 

Additional language in the Budget Ordinance 2nd Reading:

 

WHEREAS,  it is within the authority of the City Manager, or his/her designee, to execute grant agreements for grant awards included in the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Annual Budget submission; and

 

SECTION 8. That the City Manager, or his/her designee, has the full authority to execute grant agreements for grant awards included in the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Annual Budget submission.
