Body

The purpose of this Invitation for Bids is to establish a contract with a successful bidder for the purchase of trash receptacles.

On April 11, 2025, the Procurement Division of Finance formally advertised, issued and distributed IFB 2025-007 Purchase of Trash Receptacles.  Thirteen (13) prospective bidders were notified through INFOR, the City’s web-based e-procurement system.

On May 2, 2025, six (6) bids were received, including one (1) no bid in response to the IFB: DIRTT Environmental Solutions, Inc., (no bid), Landscape Forms, Northrock Enterprises, LLC., Southern Park and Play, LLC., Tiger Companies, Inc., and Victor Stanley, LLC.

The responses were reviewed by the Procurement Division in order to determine responsiveness to the requirements of the IFB and to identify the lowest responsive responsible bidder.  The Procurement Division finalized its due diligence process and confirmed that Tiger Companies, Inc., is both responsive to the requirements of the IFB and responsible bidder.

The Public Works Department concurs with the Chief Procurement Officer’s recommendation to award Tiger Companies, Inc., the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for the Purchase of Trash Receptacles for a two (2) year term with the option to renew for three (3) additional one (1) year periods in an amount not to exceed the available budget.
