Congratulations to Firefighter Jammer Nuñez, recipient of the City of Coral Gables Firefighter of the Month Award, for the month of January 2013.

Firefighter Jammer Nuñez was selected as January's Firefighter of the Month for his acts of concern and consideration in dealing with the public, specifically his excellent response to an emergency call involving a victim of a garage door accident.  Firefighter Nuñez responded efficiently and expeditiously while rendering aid to the victim, but most importantly, assisted Lt. Alpizar in calming the victim's child throughout the stressful incident.  
 
The Fire Department has recognized Firefighter Nuñez's thoughtfulness, kindness, and concern while handling this call and selected him as Firefighter of the Month for January 2013.
