CITY MANAGER'S RECOMMENDATION
That a Resolution awarding the construction contract for the improvements of existing space to house the Art Cinema at the Museum Garage, City of Coral Gables, Florida, to Solution Construction, Inc., the lowest and most responsive bid, in the amount of $535,343.00, be approved by the City Commission, with the understanding that tasks of deductive alternates might be performed during the construction period, at the cost indicated in the bid, in the event additional funds become available.
BRIEF HISTORY
The work involves interior improvements and minor exterior alterations of existing space at the City Museum Garage to house the Art Cinema. The contract is for an amount of $535,343.00, with clarifications.

The Public Works Department reviewed the bids and information submitted. The bids were further reviewed including references. The Public Works Department recommends the construction contract for improvements of existing space at the Museum Garage to house the Art Cinema be awarded to the lowest and most responsive bid, Solution Construction, Inc., 7955 N. W. 12 St., #425, Miami, Florida 33126.
