The minutes from the July meeting were circulated for approval. Motion: Katherine deBlij motioned to approve the July meeting minutes. David Stiefel seconded the motion and it was passed unanimously.
 
Apolinar Ayanes from the IT Department demonstrated the Communications Survey on the homepage. He explained the format and the content. Stiefel inquired about how the Communications Survey will be promoted. Higgins Fallon reported that future editions of e-News will begin announcing the survey and the promotion will be ongoing.
 
Higgins Fallon distributed recent copies of the Golden Gables. The format has changed to a four-color layout. This will be the only publication approved to be printed next year under the current proposed budget. It is distributed to 5,100 seniors.
 
The most recent layout of the Annual Report was distributed to Committee Members for input. She indicated that this layout has been reviewed by the City Manager. Copies of this layout have also been distributed to the City Commission for input. The cost to design, print and mail will be about $22,000 or about $1.58 per piece. It will be distributed to 14,104 homes, but not to businesses. Overall, Committee members were very pleased with the layout and design of the Annual Report.
 
Motion:  David Stiefel motioned to approve the final layout and design of the Annual Report. Vivian More seconded the motion and it was passed unanimously.
 
Higgins Fallon distributed a layout of a new on-line version of the XChange, the employee newsletter. Due to pending budget cuts, it was requested to post this newsletter on-line for future editions to save the cost of printing.
 
As a new programming idea for television, CGTV is now working on producing a new show highlighting historic homes, to be showcased on a "This Old Gables Home" TV segment. CGTV staff member Pablo Sanchis will be producing this new segment. Higgins Fallon also updated Committee members about the upgrades of the Commission Chambers.
 
With no other business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned.
