The Board shall act as advocacy group for issues affecting disabled persons, develop programs, assess demographic data, and create initiatives affecting disabled citizens. Inform and educate the community leaders to create a focus on disability issues; identify City, State, and County resources that can be made available toward providing opportunities for the disabled; establish non-traditional opportunities for communication between community leaders and the disabled citizenry.
