Body

At a budget workshop on July 13, 2021, the City Commission adopted a tentative millage rate for Fiscal Year 2021-2022 of 5.559; unchanged from the 5.559 rate adopted for Fiscal Year 2020-2021.  The tentative millage rate of 5.559 was used by the Miami-Dade County Property Appraiser to prepare the 2021 Notice of Proposed Property Taxes that was sent to the Coral Gables property owners as a notification of their potential property taxes, as well as the date, time and meeting information for the first public hearing to discuss the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 Annual Budget.  The date, time and place of the second public hearing was included in the “Notice of Proposed Tax Increase” advertised on Thursday, September 23, 2021 in the main section of the Miami Herald, as well as in the display case in the main entrance of City Hall.
