A Resolution authorizing an amendment to the Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Annual Budget to transfer from fund balance Police, Fire and Park Impact Fees, and to appropriate the Police and Fire funds for the construction of the New Public Safety Building, and the Parks funds for the Ponce Circle Park Project.

In order to meet the funding needs of the recently finalized construction contract for the New Public Safety Building, staff is recommending the utilization of available Police and Fire Impact Fees. The transfer amount is $711,006 from Police Impact Fee balance and $399,222 from Fire Impact Fee balance. The total transfer for this project is $1,110,228.
In order to meet the funding needs of the Ponce Circle Park project, staff is recommending the utilization of available Park Impact Fees. The transfer amount is $1,000,000.
An amendment to the Fiscal Year 2018-2019 annual budget is required to transfer from fund balance Police, Fire and Park Impact Fees, and to appropriate such funds to for the aforementioned purposes.
