Firefighter Carlos Eguiluz has been selected the 2017 Firefighter of the Year for his unwavering devotion to a lifetime career service to Vehicle Extrication. His knowledge and years of experience in this field led him to teach countless firefighters not only in our department but worldwide. He has officially represented the Coral Gables Fire Department when firefighters visiting from our sister cities have come to train in Miami.
We thank Firefighter Eguiluz for representing the Coral Gables Fire Department and the City of Coral Gables so admirably and for making us proud.
