Captain Tony Jedlinski has been selected December’s Firefighter of the Month for his outstanding display of individual initiative surpassing job requirements and expectations, specifically for coordinating the “Santa Claus Around Town” detail. This Coral Gables tradition is anticipated by our residents each year bringing great joy to both young and old. Captain Jedlinski did an excellent job preparing the routes so that every zone in the City would be visited by Santa. His attention to detail, including the necessary preparations that he exhibited, plus giving of his time all weekend long to make sure the event would be successful, are worthy of this recognition.
