The Miracle Mile and Giralda Avenue Streetscape project is the result of decades of Community visioning. The project includes the transformation of the public realm to create a civic promenade that will become a focal point for the region. This new environment will include extensive landscape and trees, sidewalk cafes, public art, beautiful lighting, comfortable and inviting street furnishings and enhanced drainage. Additionally, Giralda Avenue will be a spectacular shared pedestrian environment that includes creative and artful paving, lighting and landscaping.
On June 9, 2016 the City of Coral Gables entered into an Agreement with AECOM Technical Services, Inc. to provide professional services under a continuing service contract.
On December 20, 2016 the City of Coral Gables entered into an Agreement with AECOM Technical Services, Inc. for the purpose of providing Owner’s Representative Services for the Streetscape project. The scope of services provides an AECOM staff person serving as the liaison between the City, the CMAR firm (Ric-Man International), and the consultant (Cooper Robertson), and their Sub-consultants.
This change order provides for the continuation of such services through the completion of the project.
