School Community Relations Committee meeting minutes of November 20, 2015 requesting action from the City Commission.
Body
1. The Committee discussed old business including the West Lab Expansion Report, the Crafts Area ABC Process, and the Education Compact with MDCPS.
2. The Committee respectfully requests approval of the School Improvement Projects from the City Commission. Each committee member will be responsible for at least one project and will work collaboratively with MDCPS staff and other stakeholders on the projects, through the auspices of the City Manager’s Office and the Commission.
3. The Commission-as-a-whole appointment for the SCRC is vacant. The Committee respectfully asks the Commission to consider appointing Dana Peterson to the Committee.
4. New business was discussed including a recap of a meeting that took place between Sam Joseph, City staff and MDCPS staff, and proposed constitutional amendment SJR 734
