Body
On November 18, 2014, the City Commission authorized negotiations with Cooper Robertson and Associates, an architectural consulting firm selected as result of an RFQ process, to determine the terms and conditions for consulting services necessary for the Miracle Mile and Giralda Avenue Streetscape Design Project.

The purpose of this contract is to hire a qualified Design Consulting firm to develop contract plans, specifications, construction estimates, and to provide design and construction administration services during construction for the successful completion of the Miracle Mile and Giralda Avenue Streetscape (the "Project"). The Project calls for the transformation of the public realm between building facades on both sides of the street.    The project will include installing extensive gardens and landscaping, setting the stage for the incorporation of public art, providing decorative street lighting and way finding

The Public Works Department and the Procurement Division have completed their negotiations with Cooper Robertson and Associates, resulting in the attached contract, subject to final approval and execution by City staff.  The proposed contract is being presented to the City Commission for approval in substantially the form attached.
