Resolution accepting the recommendation of the Chief Procurement Officer to approve continuing contracts for an initial two (2) year period with an option for one (1) additional two (2) year period with AECOM Technical Services, Inc., Hazen and Sawyer P.C., Camp Dresser and McKee (CDM) , Inc., and URS Corporation Southern for environmental engineering consulting services pursuant to Florida Statute 287.055, known as the "Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act" and Request for Qualifications (RFQ) 2011.05.13.
Brief History
On August 23, 2011, the City Commission authorized negotiations with environmental engineering consulting firms selected as result of an RFQ process as follows: AECOM Technical Services, Inc., Hazen and Sawyer P.C., Camp Dresser and McKee (CDM), Inc., and URS Corporation Southern, to determine compensation that will be paid under continuing contracts with the City.
The purpose of these continuing contracts is to provide environmental engineering consulting services necessary for sanitary sewer, environmental and storm water utility projects. Construction projects assigned under these continuing contracts will not exceed $2,000,000 nor will a study exceed $200,000 pursuant to Florida Statute 287.055, known as the "Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act."
The Procurement Division of Finance and the Public Works Department have completed their negotiations as to compensation, terms, and conditions with AECOM Technical Services, Inc., Hazen and Sawyer P.C., Camp Dresser and McKee (CDM), Inc., and URS Corporation Southern, resulting in the attached contracts.
