[TheCampana and Rovino Pump Station Project consists of refurbishing two (2) existing pump stations, including installation of four (4) new pumps, discharge piping, electrical (service, equipment and instrumentation), water service, paving panels, flood barrier system, SCADA interface and controls; along with site restoration.
 
On October 21, 2011, the Procurement Division of Finance formally advertised Campana and Rovino Pump Station Rehabilitation Project Invitation to Bid (IFB) 2011.10.21.  On November 3, 2011, a non-mandatory pre-bid conference was held followed by a site visit with fourteen (14) prospective bidders in attendance of the forty (40) contractors and subcontractors who obtained the bid document from the Procurement Division.  On November 22, 2011, eight (8) responsive bids were submitted by: R&G Engineering, Inc., Metro Equipment Services, Inc., Southeastern Engineering Contractors, Inc., H.A. Contracting Corporation, Comtech Engineering, Inc., TLC Diversified, Inc., ARRYA Construction and Design Inc., and Intercounty Engineering, Inc.
 
The lowest responsive responsible bid for the Campana and Rovino Pump Station Rehabilitation Project was submitted by Intercounty Engineering, Inc, with their bid of $820,000.  The Consulting Engineering firm for the project, Camp, Dresser & McKee, Inc., and the Public Works Department concur with the recommendation of the Chief Procurement Officer to award Intercounty Engineering, Inc. the Campana and Rovino Pump Station Rehabilitation Project.
