Resolution authorizing an on-street field test of credit card-enabled, single-space parking meters from Duncan Parking Technologies, Inc.

Duncan Parking Technologies, Inc. manufactures single-space meters that accept credit card transactions
and are solar powered. Duncan has agreed to set up a pilot project within the City of Coral Gables
covering twenty (20) on-street parking spaces. A copy of the proposed Field Trial Agreement is attached.
The key terms are as follows:
1. Duncan Parking will install twenty (20) machines in an on-street location determined by the City
for the trial period.
2. The City's only cost will be $8.50 per month for each meter for communications and back office.
3. The trial will be for a period of sixty (60) days.
Once the field test is complete, the City of Coral Gables is under no obligation to purchase any meters
from the Vendor
