Brief History

Sanitary Sewer Pump Station City No. 3 is the City’s second largest sewer pumping station located near the intersection of South Greenway Drive and Coral Way adjacent to the Granada Golf Course.  Grant funding in the amount of $500,000 was received in 2009 from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) through Agreement LP8910 to assist in funding the rehabilitation at this station.

The City retained the services of CDM Consulting Engineers to prepare construction plans and specifications and secure the required permits. The project was later bid and a contract was awarded to Governor Construction.

The project is now substantially completed and is currently in the punch list and contract close out phase. This process is expected to last a couple of months.

This amendment extends the expiration date of the Agreement from December 31, 2011 to April 30, 2012, and revising the work plan under the Agreement to comply with the new expiration date.
