The minutes from the September meeting were circulated for approval. Jerry Santeiro motioned to approve the September meeting minutes. Carlos Perea seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
Raimundo Rodulfo introduced himself and presented a brief update on recently completed projects by the Information Technology Department.
Michael Rocha introduced himself and showcased programs originally produced by Coral Gables Television. Liana Perez suggested producing a tourism video about Coral Gables that would be sent to local hotels for airing on their televisions. She would also like to see a show about coffee houses in Coral Gables. Higgins Fallon will follow up with CGTV.
Higgins Fallon discussed the new Random Acts of Kindness project, the Coral Gables Museum opening exhibits weekend, the annual Senior Art Show, the upcoming UM football game, and Bike Day. Higgins Fallon brought up for discussion the discount for residents program proposed at the last meeting. Members instructed Higgins Fallon to invite representatives from the Chamber, BID and Economic Sustainability Department to discuss this idea at the next Communications Committee meeting.
Higgins Fallon distributed the latest e-News information.
With no further issues to discuss, the meeting was adjourned.
