The Coral Gables Police Department utilizes the interview room within the Criminal Investigations Division to facilitate victim and witness oral accounts of events. An enhanced digital system will allow investigators the ability to capture exact moments of speech and voice inflection to insure accurate documentation for trial purposes. The system will be installed in the Interview Room of the Criminal Investigation Division. The system will provide investigators the ability to accurately compare and evaluate exact speech patterns, inflections, and oral testimony of interviewees.
