The nomination was submitted by Diana Gomez, Finance Department, which provided the following:
"It is my pleasure to nominate Sally Ola Ola to be considered for the Employee of the Month. Sally has been employed with the City of Coral Gables Finance Department for over 3 years.
Sally began her career with the City back in April of 2009 as an Accountant II. She was later promoted to Chief Accountant. Since the start of her career with the City, Sally has proven her abilities and dedication time and again. She is a hard-working professional who does what it takes to get the job done.
In her role as Chief Accountant, Sally is tasked with handling many complex accounting matters. She has demonstrated her ability to quickly understand an issue, perform thorough research, and provide efficient and effective solutions. Her contributions to the department have been extremely valuable.
Sally is a tremendous asset to the Finance Department. She is always willing to assist in any areas of the department as well as take on special assignments without hesitation and with a positive attitude. I am very happy to have her as part of my team."
