The nomination was submitted by Scott Masington, Police Department, which provided the following:
"I'd like to take this opportunity to nominate Rebeca Dantin for Employee of the Month. Ms. Dantin has been with the City of Coral Gables, specifically the Police Department for ten years and has been assigned to the Internal Affairs Section for the past six years. In her current position she is tasked with handling many complex matters that are extremely sensitive in nature. Her work in this area is not only efficient and thorough but she also is extraordinarily discrete. Her inherent character is to be professional and she is always willing to assist in other areas of the agency when asked to do so. At times she assists in the Chiefs office. In that capacity she is also tasked with assignments that require the utmost discretion and again Ms. Dantin handles these assignments with professionalism. She is a person who arrives early, stays late when needed and always interested in the next challenge. She is a dedicated employee whom I proudly nominate for employee of the month."
