APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Approved the Minutes of June 7, 2012 and the Minutes of August 9, 2012 with a typographical correction.
NEW BUSINESS
LE JEUNE ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT: City Manager, Mr. Salerno, presented the drawings showing the proposed construction of landscaped, raised medians along the Le Jeune Road corridor from US1 to the City limits to the North. A motion was made to "Accept the Le Jeune Road Improvement Project as presented." The motion was seconded, voted upon and adopted unanimously.
NEIGHBORHOOD RENAISSANCE DISCUSSION: Mr. Adams requested follow up reports of the Coco Plum Circle and Ingraham Park projects for the next meeting. Mr. Parsley commented that there was no requirement for items that had been before the Board to be brought back to the Board. The Board of Architects would be the next step in the process of review. Mr. Adams responded that there would be no follow-up action, but requested that a report of progress be made.
ELECTION OF CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR: In the interest of having all the Board members present for this process, the election was deferred to the next meeting.
ARBOR DAY 2013: Discussion for the Arbor Day celebration started and will continue at the next meeting. A tentative date of Friday, April 26, 2013, was set.
OLD BUSINESS:
COCOPLUM TRAFFIC CIRCLE UPDATE: Mr. Adams requested an update on this project.
GENERAL DISCUSSION: The Board expressed their appreciation for the City Manager's attendance and for introducing the Le Jeune Road Improvement Project.
